Great Barrier Reef series

The series illustrates species form the stunning natural wonder of the Great Barrier Reef located on the east coast of Queensland, Australia. There are hundreds of different marine species through out the series which Justin has endevoured to represent in his own individual style.

This body of work takes form in the effort to bring awareness to the concerning environmental issues that are affecting our planet today. The key themes and ideas that are at play in the work are loss less evident through the means of bright colours opposed to the absence of colours, the strong contrast prevalent in the works awaken us to the future natural environment without colour and its magnificent intricacies that could vanish.
